This tutorial shows how to invite us as developers to your Firebase project, exactly as demonstrated in the video. This step is required so we can access Firebase services like Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and app configuration. 1. Log in to the Firebase Console - Open the Firebase Console and sign in with a Google account that has Owner or Editor permissions for the project. 2. Select the correct Firebase project - From the project dropdown at the top, select the Firebase project you want to grant access to. 3. Open Project Settings - Click the gear icon next to *Project Overview*. - Select Project settings from the menu. 4. Navigate to Users and permissions - In the Project Settings tabs, open Users and permissions. 5. Add a new member - Click Add member. 6. Enter the developer email address - Paste the email address we provided. - This is the Google account that will receive access. 7. Assign a role - In the video, a role with sufficient permissions is selected: - Editor. - Avoid custom roles unless you know exactly what you’re restricting. 8. Confirm and add - Review the selected role. - Click Add member to send the invitation. 9. Invitation acceptance - The invited developer must accept the invitation via email before access becomes active.
