Set Up PayPal Product Part 2

This video covers the final step of the PayPal subscription setup: connecting the PayPal plan created in Part 1 with your CMS so it can be offered to users during checkout. Part 1 defines the product and billing logic in PayPal. Part 2 tells the CMS which PayPal plan to use. 1. In the CMS, go to Product & Payments → Products. 2. Click Create new SubscriptionProduct. 3. Fill Name and Description. 4. In merchantConfigurationId, use the search/plus control to select the correct merchant configuration (the one that corresponds to PayPal in your system). 5. Set Available (toggle) depending on whether it should be purchasable immediately. 6. In the Product section: - Enter Price (note: the UI indicates it’s stored “in hundredths”) - Choose the Type from the dropdown - Set Currency code (example shown: GBP (£)) 7. Scroll to Optional Fields / Additional Metadata and fill as needed: - Amount parallel streams - Quality level - Trial period - Valid for - (Plus display name/image fields if you use them) 8. Save the SubscriptionProduct. 9. Verify it appears in the product list and is linked to the right merchant config.
