Create a Series

Guide: Creating a Series and Linking a Season Step 1: Create the New Series (0:05 – 0:17) 1. Navigate to CMS in the left sidebar and select 'Series' (0:04 – 0:05). 2. Click the + CREATE button in the top right corner (0:06 – 0:07). 3. Enter the series title (0:08 – 0:10). 4. Enter the corresponding URL slug (0:11 – 0:13). 5. Enter a unique external identifier for tracking (0:16 – 0:17). Step 2: Create the Season (0:32 – 0:48)** 1. Navigate to 'Seasons' in the left sidebar (0:32). 2. Click the + CREATE button (0:33 – 0:34). 3. Enter the season title (e.g., Season 01) (0:35 – 0:38). 4. Enter the corresponding URL slug (0:41 – 0:43). 5. Enter the unique external identifier (0:46 – 0:47). Step 3: Link the Season to the Series (0:52 – 0:59)** 1. Scroll down to the 'Connection' section in the Season details page (0:52). 2. Locate the 'SeriesId' field (0:52 – 0:53) and click the search icon. 3. In the search modal, find and select the Series you created in Step 1 (0:54 – 0:56). 4. Click SAVE to link the season to the series (0:57). Step 4: Create and Link an Episode (2:03 – 2:38) 1. Navigate to Episodes in the left sidebar (2:03) and click + CREATE (2:04). 2. Fill in the required fields (Title, Slug, External Identifier) (2:05 – 2:10). 3. Scroll down and link the episode to the season by entering the SeasonId (2:06) or selecting it from the search modal (2:04). 4. Create and Apply a License to the Episode. Click SAVE. 5. Upload Video: Navigate to the Advanced tab (2:12), drag and drop the episode video file, and click START PROCESS (2:13 – 2:18).Once the transcoding process is complete, the video source will be ready (2:27 – 2:30). The episode will now be available on the frontend under the specified Series and Season, with the license terms applied (3:08 – 3:16).
