⚡ Quick Guide: Create and Publish a Movie Asset Step 1: Enter Your Movie Details (0:01 - 0:37) - Navigate to Movies and click "+ CREATE" in the top right corner (0:01 - 0:08). - Fill in the Title and Slug (0:12 - 0:25). - Add an External Identifier (0:31). - Optional: Fill in synopses and connect any related persons (Directors, Writers, Actors). Step 2: Create a License for Your Movie (0:38 - 1:20) - Click "+ Create New License". - Set the External Identifier for the license (0:40). - Select your platform for the Channel - Under "Active Countries", open the dropdown and select the countries the movie should be available in. For worldwide access select "All". - Set the License Start and End dates (0:57 - 1:09). - Select Property: Under Properties, select the monetization model. Choose between: FVOD (Free Video on Demand): Free content with no subscription or payment. -AVOD (Ad-Supported Video on Demand): Free or low-cost content supported by ads. -SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand): Paid subscription gives unlimited access to content. TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand): Pay-per-view or pay-per-rental content. EST (Electronic Sell-Through): One-time purchase for permanent ownership. - Click SAVE Step 3: Upload Your Artwork (1:21 - 1:44) - In the Required Fields section, click Select to load the mandatory Cover Image and the Widescreen Image from the asset library (1:22 - 1:37). - Click SAVE & BACK TO LIST. 4. Upload the Video Source (1:49 - 2:14) - Click EDIT on the new movie, then switch to the ADVANCED tab (1:49 - 1:52). - In the Video Source section, drag and drop the movie file into the upload area (1:55). - The system will automatically validate, upload, and transcode the video (2:00 - 2:14). - Check the REVIEW tab to confirm the video is working (2:15). Once all fields are complete, ensure the movie is marked as Active to appear on the frontend. This can take up to 10 minutes.
