Change the free trial period

This video shows how to update the global free trial length by changing the BaseFreeTrialDays value in the Admin Dashboard’s App Configuration. This value is reused in multiple places across the website, mainly for display purposes (for example, onboarding copy and subscription plan labels that reference baseFreeTrialDays). 1. Open the Admin Dashboard Log into the backend and navigate to App Configuration. 2. Go to “Base Config” On the App Configuration overview, click Base Config, which contains the global/basic settings. 3. Open “appSettings” In Feature Flags – Base Config, select appSettings (global app settings). 4. Edit BaseFreeTrialDays In the Edit Flag: appSettings modal, locate BaseFreeTrialDays and enter the desired number of trial days (example shown in the video: 14). 5. Save the change Click Save to apply the updated value. Note: Changing BaseFreeTrialDays only affects the values shown in the website texts, as demonstrated in the video. It does not change the actual free trial duration applied to subscription products during payment.
