This video demonstrates how to use the CMS Batch Edit functionality to efficiently modify a large number of license entries at once. This function can be used to filter and edit any value on the license list, not just the one shown in the video. The filtering of the License Start date is used here only as a case study/example. Guide: Batch Editing Multiple Licenses Step 1: Access the Licenses and Select Entries (0:01 – 0:21) - From the CMS dashboard, navigate to License & Contract and select Licenses (0:03 – 0:05). - Optional: Customise View: Click the gear icon in the top right and check or uncheck fields (like License Start, License End, Properties) to display only the columns you need for the batch edit (0:12 – 0:17). - Select the licenses you wish to edit by checking the box next to each entry (0:19 – 0:21). Step 2: Filter and Apply Operation (0:22 – 0:45) Note: This is where you can filter the list based on any criteria before selecting your entries. - Set Filter: Click the Filter button. Under Field Name, select the field you want to filter (e.g., License Start is selected in the video) (0:24 – 0:26). - Set Operator/Value: Click Filter Operation and select the operator (e.g., greater than > or equals =) (0:28 – 0:33). - Enter the required date or value (0:38 – 0:43). The list will now only show entries matching the filter. Step 3: Initiate Batch Edit and Apply Changes (0:46 – 1:11) - With the entries selected, click BATCH EDIT in the top right (0:48). - A pop-up titled "Batch Edit [X] selected CMSLicense entries" will appear (0:50). - Define New Values: Scroll down and use the Essential Fields section to set the new values you want to apply to all selected licenses. - Example: In the video, a new License start date (11.12.2025, 19:00) is entered (0:55 – 1:04). Click OVERRIDE 10 ENTRIES (1:05). Confirm Changes: A confirmation screen shows the fields that will be changed. Click CONFIRM CHANGES (1:08). The system will process the bulk update (1:10).
